Note: You will be redirected to a Dropbox folder. If you are on a mobile device, you can access your files directly there. Or if you are on a PC or Mac, click on the "Download" button at the top right to download all the files as a zip file.

If you have an iPhone or iPad and would like to read immediately:

  1. Tap the MOBI file and choose "Continue with website" (or Using App should work too).
  2. Tap the MOBI file you want
  3. Tap "Download" and "Direct Download"
  4. Tap "More..." (not Open in Kindle as that doesn't seem to work.)
  5. Then scroll over until you find "Copy to Kindle" with the Kindle app icon above it.

That should allow you to immediately read it on your iPad with the Kindle app.

[FAQ]

Here are the top questions Yumi and I get asked about our bundle deals:

I have a Mac, will these bundles work with my computer?

Yes! We use cross-platform industry-standard file formats. All computers and laptops (whether Windows, Mac, or Linux) should have no problem opening PDFs or playing MP3s. In some cases, you might have to download apps for viewing the Kindle MOBI files (with the Amazon Kindle app) or the ePub files (with just about any other ebook reader app). Most phones and tablets also should have no problem opening these files (again with the possible need of using an app for the ePub and MOBI files).

I don't know any Japanese at all. Do you have a bundle for me?

The only bundle we recommend for absolute beginners is our Beri- Beri- Shoshinsha beginner's bundle. But if you are a true beginner, that bundle was made specifically for you. For all the other bundles, we suggest knowing hiragana well, basic Japanese sentence structure, and a few hundred vocabulary words. Basically, a few months in a good textbook first.

Do I really get free updates?

Yes! For life. We have been adding one book a month (or so) to our growing library and have every intention of continuing to make all of our bundles an incredible value and resource. You will be notified by email whenever we add a new book to a bundle you purchased.

How do I access my purchase?

Any way you want. You will receive a Dropbox link which you can access on any device (mobile or computer). For every book, we offer three ebook formats: PDF (great for large screens like computers, laptops, or tablets), Kindle MOBI (for Amazon e-readers and Amazon Kindle apps), and ePub (for just about any other eBook reader apps). Many people read a PDF on their tablet while listening to the sound files (MP3s) on their phones. ALL OUR eBOOKS ARE DRM FREE! Of course, if this tech-talk is confusing to you, don't worry! We are there to help you understand and use after purchase.

Can I print these or use them on multiple devices?

Yes! Feel free to print as much as you want and view the content on as many of your devices as you like too. We just ask, of course, that you don't share the files with others. Our main goal with these resources is for our customers to LEARN from them! So, please use them in any way you see fit and be sure to send us your comments or suggestions. We love to hear from you!

- The Author -

Two decades ago, we began TheJapanesePage.com, one of the internet's oldest and largest free Japanese instructional sites with hundreds of free articles for beginners of Japanese. We also run TheJapanShop.com, an online store that sells quality lessons and Japanese study materials like books, eBooks, videos, audios and articles which are helpful for learners of Japanese. We also have Makoto+ - a monthly e-zine for beginner to intermediate learners of Japanese. It is a digital magazine with all the good stuff not usually found in textbooks. It has articles on Japanese grammar, kanji, culture, and art. Each issue also includes two complete short stories with vocabulary, grammar explanations, and two sound files of each story (normal speed and slower).
